gap is happen on Monday morning when market start with difference when close and open next day so this is gap so when you close your trading session you must close your all trades then you are safe other wise you may loose your money

yes i agree with you due to gap some time i face loss and some time i earn good profit but in my opinion you must close your trade while market is near to close so in this way you are safe from loss or profit
