two colors in threads one is blue and second is red but why?

there is no such concept that for blue color thread we will get more bonus and for red color thread we will get less bonus. the thing is that red color thread are the old post and blue color post are new post. u can easily see the time and date mentioned on the threads by putting the mouse cursor on the thread
