Confident is a good thing we should have, but if we are over-confident then it may turns into a boomerang which can hurt our self when facing the uncertain problems and suffered a heavy lost.

Of course you must not allow yourself to become over confident. But generally, confidence is needed in the forex market. It is part of our emotions so it must disturb us once in a while. Just be sure to keep yours in check.

absolutely right, confidence is the key of success but over confidence is the barrier of success. in Forex trading you must have skills and tactics to handle your emotions and do not be over confidence, be calm while you are trading. small hopes may take little profits but extra hopes may suffer heavy losses.

You are correct that over confident is very bad thing because when we become over confident then we can't make profit in the market easily and therefore we lose money here. Confident is good thing but avoid over confident.
