Meri forex-related parhai abhi shuru huwi hai. Aj rat beth kar tutorials dekhe hain. InstaTrader ka software download kar k demo account set up kia hai. But abhi buhat shadeed confusions hain kafi sari.
So yahan maujood senior members ki rehnumai chahiye. Aik to yeh k lot kia hota hai? Aur dosra Stop Loss aur Take Profit ka thora sa bata dain. I know yeh buhat simple concepts hain but tutorials dekhte huwe mere sar k opar se guzar chuke hain. So please help.

My answer to this question is just for an introductory level!

Well, a lot refers to a bundle of units in trade. Let me make it simpler, it means a size of a trade that you are making. For instance if you are a buying something at a grocery store and you see a pack of 12 mangoes. you will have to buy those 12 mangoes at all because it is in a lot size. When you finished buying, you would say you bought 1 lot of mangoes and that meant, you bought


1 lot = 12 mangoes.

Got it?

In Forex, the same rule applies,

If I am saying I am using 0.03 lot size, it means whenever one pip will move, I take profit/loss of 0.03

2 pips moved = (2*0.03= $0.06 profit/loss)
100 pips moved = (100*0.03=$3 profit/loss)

and the same as, if I am using the lot size of 0.5 (a big one) then it would give me this calculation

2 pips moved = (2*0.5= $1 profit/loss)
100 pips moved = (100*0.5=$50 profit/loss)

Also, what about a pip? It is used very often in Forex trade, so if you tell me a little about it, that would be very helpful.

Well, it's good, my typing didn't waste and you understood it.

Now pip means, 'percentage in points'.

Let me make it simpler,

If you see price at 1.32560

and then it changes to 1.32565

Now, you can see the change of 5 points (numbers here) so I can say the movement of 5 pips

The smallest movement in the prices can refer to as pip.

If price is 1.12345 and it changes to 1.12354(a movement of 9 pis)

If price is 1.12354 and it changes to 1.12345(a movement of 9 pis)

If price is 1.12345 and it changes to 1.12360 (a movement of 15 pips)

Lot se Murad profit ya loss ko control karna or trader ki trade ka waazan hota hai.Jab kisi currency ko sell ya buy kiya jata hai tu trader lot ko chose karta hai.or trade k lot depend leverage or trader k capital pay depend karti hai.For example trader k account main ager 100 dollars hai tu trader jab 1 lot volume chose kar k trade karta hai tu aik pip k low ya up honay se trader ko 1 dollar ka profit ya loss ho raha hota hai.Stop loss basic ap k capital ko secure karta hai or huge loss se bacha daita hai.Forex example ap ney trade eurusd pay 1.36250 pay buy lagai hai tu ap es ka stop loss humesha neechy ki taraf lagaty hain k price jab against move ho tu kis price ko touch kar k trade close ho jaey or ap ko zaida loss na ho tu ap jab stop loss 1.36200 pay laga dain gay tu jab market 1.36200 ko touch kar k jitna marzi neechy chali jaey us ko ap ko nuqsan woh he hoga jo ap ki stop loss ki price ap ny chose ki thi.

lot ka word hum use kartay hain apni trade ko measure karnay k lye, lakin jab ap meta trader par jatay ho to wha par volume ka word use hota hay, volume may ap select kartay ho apna lot size, is ka gahra taluq hota hay margin, free margin aur margin level say, aur sath hi leverage say bhi, agar ap ko lot ko samajhna hay to phir in cheezo ki calculation ko bhi seekhna hoga.

Bhai lot size jo hai ham meta trader 4 main use karte hai yai hamari trading k liye hota hai or jaise ham 0.10 ka lot liya liya to hame 1 pip per $1 ka profit hota hai isi tarah agar aap lot size 0.20 rakha to aapka profit jo hai wo $2 per pip ho jata hai

forex me lot size actually trade volume ko khty hy. yane agar tum 1$ ke lot size lety hoto per pip apko same yahe 1$ ka loss and profit hota hy. so esly lot size ko hamesha care k sath lena chahey taky apka capital safe rahy.
