I think pending order in a Forex is that orders which you buying or selling in advance if you do not have to sale your product any time then you modify the target and when market touch at that point automatically your trade closed.

pending order is used when an expetation of the market movement is high but time and chance do not support the placement of such trade. not just anything can be set as pending order but their are rules guiding every step of the pending order. the price setting the volume and the limit setting are all needed to be well known from the start.
